Bee & Wasp Control Examples

Roofline access around shingles can be easily treated for wasp control. Paper nests of hornets and True Yellow Jackets can be treated very successfully with the aerosol fog from Viper Injector. Honey bees my be more difficult to control in structures depending on where the hive is located in relation to the opening where they enter and leave. If the wall can be drilled or opened, the success rate will be much higher.

The top two images show the exposed part of the hive. The image to the right shows the hive extending behind the particle board another 3 to 4 feet. Treatment would have required drilling multiple holes in the sheet rock and on through the particle board to be successful using an aerosol fog.

NOTE: Be extremely careful when treating with Viper Injector around electrical outlets, junction boxes, electrical components, food, countertops, food utensils and cooking pots and pans must be done with care. Injuries from electrical shock can be fatal. Review the insecticide product for directions including allowance for use around food handling environments and electrical components. Do not allow the nozzle to contact live connections nor place it directly into an outlet or box where electrical connections exist. Equipment with pilot lights and use of oil-based products may result in flash fire or explosion if the gas is not turned off and pilot lights extinguished.
